East Branch Friends of the Arts was formed in 1996 to support the arts in the Town of Keene, New York. The Town of Keene and the hamlets of Keene, Keene Valley and St. Huberts have a long and rich tradition in literary, visual and performing arts. We invite the support and suggestions of the year round and seasonal residents of the Town of Keene, and the support and suggestions of our many visitors. Please consider joining East Branch Friends of the Arts by providing the information requested on our Membership page. Past and current activities include play readings, poetry readings, chamber music concerts, artist studio tours, dramatic presentations, snow sculpture contests, photography contests and jazz concerts. Participating organizations include the the Lake Placid Institute, the Seagle Music Colony, and the Meadowmount School of Music.
